piggy bank

Olivers piggy bank was getting pretty heavy so I decided to dump it all out and count it. Of course he was right there to "help" me. We worked on learning which coin is which. He did really well! He helped me sort them into piles and helped count it.

There was
$51 in quarters
$3 in bills
$26 in dimes
$9 in nickles
$6 in pennies
so a total of 95.85!

7 Months!!

there is not a night that we don't read to oliver. he loves books. right now he "reads" them to us after we read them to him. it's so cute to hear him recite the books!

went to ikea with ginny today for my first time. HOLY CRAP. i freaking love it. i bought an armoire thing for the nursery!!

i know, i know, it's not white. but i am totally okay with that. i absolutely love the color! this picture does not do it justice. it's really more purple in real life.
i also got some pink storage bins, an under the bed storage for olivers room, crib sheets, some kitchen stuff, the curtains, and some other random stuff.
i can't wait to go back!

photobooth friday

i am going to try to start doing photobooth friday every friday. we will see how this goes! 

i tried getting a picture of oliver, the belly, and my face. this is the best i could do.

this crib converts into a toddler bed, day bed, and a full size bed. love that it's white.

here are all the things i for sure want in the nursery. most of them i will make myself.

i am loving these tulle pom poms. i will probably make them in pink and white.

i have a ton of frames that i want to put cute scrapbook paper in! i'll probably do it right over the changing table like in the picture so she can stare at them while i change her. i'll probably put a mirror up as well.

i definitely want to do the fabric embroidery hoops. i'll throw in a couple lace ones as well.

i am for sure making this beautiful butterfly chandelier! i just love it.

there is a ton of other stuff still! ahhh! i love it.
